Who We Are
Oscar Ocampo is the founder, owner, and lead facilitator at WE PLAY Adventures, LLC. With over 20 years of experience in recreational leadership and Adventure Based Learning (ABL), Oscar has facilitated transformative experiences for hundreds of individuals, families, and organizations across Central New York. He holds a degree in Recreation and Recreational Leadership, and brings a rare combination of professional expertise, genuine warmth, and deep passion for inclusive play. Oscar specializes in working with diverse populations — including children, adults, corporate teams, nonprofits, and individuals with disabilities — creating environments where every participant feels welcomed, valued, and challenged at their own pace.

We believe every person has the right to participate fully — on their own terms. That’s why every WE PLAY Adventures program is built on the principle of Challenge by Choice: participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone, but are never forced.
